James Olin Fross III, a 24-year-old man from McAllen, Texas, went missing on March 28, 1987. He was last seen while en route from McAllen to South Padre Island. Shortly after his disappearance, Fross's vehicle was found abandoned at the jetties in Isla Blanca Park, a popular camping area near South Padre Island. Despite an investigation, no trace of Fross has been found, and authorities suspect foul play in the case.
