Kathleen Pehringer, a 41-year-old woman, disappeared from her home in Riverton, Wyoming, on April 17, 1989. She was last seen by her 14-year-old daughter, Kelly, before leaving for school that morning. When Kelly returned home later that day, she found Kathleen gone, with her purse and glasses missing, but her car still parked outside. There were no signs of struggle, and Kathleen had left no note, which was uncharacteristic for her.
