Luz Daris Rodriguez, a 29-year-old woman, went missing on August 25, 1989, from Miami Beach, Florida. On the day of her disappearance, she was last seen by her sister around 6:30 a.m. as she left for work. Luz boarded a northbound bus to Aventura, where she worked at a Publix supermarket. She was wearing her work uniform at the time—a green shirt and green pants—along with a black wristwatch and a gold wedding band.
Despite her routine departure, Luz never arrived at work, and no one has seen or heard from her since.
At the time of her disappearance, Luz’s husband was on a five-day vacation, and she left behind all her personal belongings, including her passport and clothes, in their apartment. Originally from Colombia, Luz had only recently arrived in the United States and spoke very little English, which might have made her more vulnerable. Despite efforts by law enforcement, few details have surfaced in her case, and it remains unsolved. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information to come forward, as the case is still classified as an endangered missing person.Last Seen: Aug 25, 1989
