Teresa Ann Gruetter, aged 33, disappeared from her home in Boring, Oregon, on September 11, 1991. She lived with her young son and her sister, who woke up that morning to find Teresa missing. Her bed was untouched, her car remained parked in the driveway, and there were no signs that she had planned to leave. Later that morning, Teresa’s boss called to report that she hadn’t shown up for work, prompting her sister to notify the police.
