In the winter of 1993, a 32-year-old man named Michael Wayne Reynolds vanished from a place he knew well, the Texaco Docks in Marrero, Louisiana. He was last seen there on December 18, 1993, a day after his birthday. Since that day, no one has reported hearing from him. The specifics of what happened to Michael remain largely unknown, leaving his family with unanswered questions. At the time he went missing, Michael was described as a white male, standing at 5'9" to 5'10" and weighing between 170 and 175 pounds. He had black hair and blue eyes. Michael had several distinct tattoos that made him recognizable. On his right shoulder blade, he had a tattoo of the Sagittarius astrological sign. His left thumb and index finger were marked with his initials. Another tattoo, this one of a Harley Davidson with wings, was on one of his arms, and it notably covered a scar. These personal markings are key identifiers in the ongoing effort to find him. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is the investigating agency for his case and has maintained an open investigation over the years. The circumstances surrounding Michael's disappearance are sparse. He was simply last observed at the docks near Barataria Boulevard and River Road and then was gone. This lack of information has made the investigation challenging for law enforcement. Despite the passage of time, the case for Michael Wayne Reynolds remains open. Investigators continue to seek any information that might shed light on what occurred on that December day. The official investigation, handled by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, remains active, holding out hope for a resolution.
