Becky Jo Look, a 41-year-old woman, disappeared on October 1, 1995, from Hallock, Minnesota. She had recently moved to the area from New Mexico with her boyfriend, with whom she had a tumultuous relationship involving heavy drinking and possible domestic violence. Becky was last seen cashing a check on the day of her disappearance, and she spoke to her daughter on the phone, but she never contacted her family again after that.
