Dona Lee Thompson, aged 49, was last seen on April 17, 1996, in Port Austin, Michigan. She worked as a manager at Jacobs Lakeview Manor, a group home in the area. On the day of her disappearance, Dona loaded boxes into a 1991 blue Chevrolet Lumina APV van from the group home and told colleagues she was heading to Bad Axe, a town about 18 miles away, for shopping. However, she never arrived at her destination, and no one has seen or heard from her since that day.
