Yinzhou Zheng, a 46-year-old graduate student from Columbia, Missouri, was last seen on September 17, 2000. Zheng had planned to visit one of his daughters in Iowa City but never arrived. His vehicle was later found parked at his residence in Columbia. Just days later, on September 23, his wife, Xiang Sun, also went missing after returning home from work and going to bed. Neither Zheng nor Sun has been heard from since.
