Minnie Evette Taylor, who often went by her middle name Evette, was a 27-year-old mother when she vanished from El Dorado, Arkansas. Originally from Haynesville, Louisiana, she had relocated to El Dorado a few years prior to her disappearance with her boyfriend and young daughter. Life presented challenges for Minnie, and due to her struggles with addiction, her daughter went to live with relatives in Louisiana.
