In the late summer of 2005, 78-year-old Bonnie McFadden, a retired teacher and landowner, vanished from her home in Johnson County, Arkansas. The last confirmed sighting of her was on August 19, 2005, when she cashed a check for several thousand dollars at a bank in Clarksville. Known to be a strong-willed and independent woman, Bonnie lived a quiet and frugal life, managing several rental properties in the Coal Hill area.
