Case Description
Verna Townsend, a 38-year-old woman from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been missing since October 2, 2007. On the day of her disappearance, she was last seen making a phone call and getting into a white SUV. Despite initial hopes of her safe return, she has not been heard from since. Verna, who stood 5'9" and weighed around 230 pounds, had distinctive surgical scars on her abdomen and typically wore her hair in a ponytail. She was known to use the name "Vette" at times.
