In the late spring of 2011, a 30-year-old woman named Toni Dean Long vanished from her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Known also by her maiden name, Cooley, Toni was a mother to four children. On May 20, 2011, she was last seen at the residence she shared with her husband near West 23rd Street and Southwest Boulevard. Her husband reported that she packed her belongings and left their home. Friends of Toni later said she had expressed a desire to leave her husband. Since that day, there has been no contact from her, a silence that is deeply out of character for a mother who was close to her children. Toni is described as a white female with blue eyes and brown hair, which she was known to color in various shades. She stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. A distinguishing feature is a tattoo of a flower and vine on her lower left leg and foot. Some descriptions of the tattoo also include the initials "MKSJ" and a butterfly. When she left, she did not take her vehicle, adding another layer of concern to her sudden departure. The Tulsa Police Department was notified of her disappearance, and a report was filed on July 25, 2011. The days turned into weeks, and the weeks into years, with no word from Toni. Her family remains without answers, holding onto hope while grappling with the pain of her absence. The circumstances of her disappearance are unsettling; while it's suggested she may have left on her own, the complete lack of communication with her children is a strong indicator to her loved ones that something is amiss. The Tulsa Police Department continues to list her as a missing person, and her case remains open. The investigation into what happened to Toni Long is ongoing, a painful and unresolved mystery for her family and community.
