In the late spring of 2011, a 30-year-old woman named Toni Dean Long vanished from her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Known also by her maiden name, Cooley, Toni was a mother to four children. On May 20, 2011, she was last seen at the residence she shared with her husband near West 23rd Street and Southwest Boulevard. Her husband reported that she packed her belongings and left their home.
