Charles Slezak, a 67-year-old visitor from Canoga Park, California, went missing on October 3, 2011, while vacationing in Kauai, Hawaii. Slezak was staying at the Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu when he was last seen around 3:30 p.m. that day. He told his wife that he was going for a swim and left the condo wearing black and white floral surf shorts, a light blue shirt, and carrying pink swim fins. However, he never returned, and his wife reported him missing later that evening.
