Thomas Charles "T.J." Murray Jr., a 23-year-old man from Spring, Texas, was last seen on October 19, 2011. That night, he visited several bars with friends, including "On the Rox" and "Rookie's Sports Bar" in Spring. At around 12:30 a.m., T.J. was reportedly involved in an altercation at Rookie's, which led to him being asked to leave. Surveillance footage showed him walking south from the bar, but he was never seen again.
The next morning, T.J.'s cell phone was found discarded in a ditch, with the back and battery removed, near Borough Park Drive, not far from the bar. His father’s Ford F-150, which T.J. had been using, was found parked at "On the Rox" bar. Despite extensive searches and ongoing investigations, foul play is suspected, but no solid leads have emerged.
T.J. was a student at Sam Houston State University, studying business and psychology, and was also a Little League umpire.
