Her home showed signs of possible foul play, with bloodstains found on the carpet. At the time of her disappearance, Beverly was wearing a multicolored nightgown and had her brown leather purse with her.
Beverly's case raised suspicions due to the presence of blood and her sudden departure, which was uncharacteristic for her. She had been separated from her husband and was dating another man. Reports indicate that her boyfriend had previously broken into her home, although she wasn't present during that incident. Beverly was working as a beautician and at a stadium concession stand at the time. In 1987, her husband had her declared legally dead, primarily to sell their shared home.
