Catherine Runte, 28, went missing from Palatine, Illinois, on May 22, 1979, following a heated argument with her husband, Robert Runte. After the altercation, Robert claimed Catherine left their home on foot, taking only a small purse, some cash, and credit cards. She never returned, and her credit cards have not been used since.
