Robert Lars Johanson, 66, was last seen on September 14, 1984, in Issaquah, Washington. Depressed following the recent death of his son, Johanson left a note indicating his emotional state before walking into the woods behind his home. Despite extensive search efforts in the surrounding area, no trace of him was ever found.
