John Brockbank, a 25-year-old casino dealer on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ship *Azure*, went missing on March 23, 1991, while the ship was en route from San Pedro, California, to Avalon on Catalina Island. Brockbank was last seen about five hours after the ship left San Pedro, and he was reported missing later that afternoon when he failed to show up for his work shift.
