Bobby Eugene Adams, a 31-year-old cab driver, was last seen on the night of November 30, 1991, in Charleston, West Virginia. He was working the graveyard shift for C&H Cab and was last in contact with dispatch at 11:45 p.m. His cab was later seen around 3:45 a.m. on Washington Street, with Adams accompanied by a Caucasian man in his 40s, who remains unidentified.
On December 1, Adams' taxi was found abandoned in a wooded area off Twilight Drive, about 70 feet from the road.
The vehicle had scratches, a broken headlight, and was partially concealed with branches. Inside, a pool of blood was discovered on the backseat floor, indicating foul play. Christmas presents Adams had bought for his family were found in the trunk. Despite the discovery of significant blood loss, Adams has never been located, and his case remains unsolved.
