Following the disagreement, he left their residence on Lillian Street. He was driving his tan 1992 Ford Crown Victoria, which had a Michigan license plate with the number 348CFG. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and light gray slacks.
Edas Lauzon was described as a white male with gray, balding hair and blue eyes. He wore wire-rimmed prescription glasses. He had several distinguishing scars, including on the backs of both of his shoulder blades, his elbow, and his right finger. He had also undergone knee replacement surgery on both knees. After he drove away from his home, he was never seen or heard from again. Extensive searches were conducted, including in Canada where he had family, but no trace of him or his vehicle has ever been found.
