Raul Marrero Diaz, a 31-year-old man, was last seen on January 13, 1998, in Miami, Florida. He and his friend, John Perez, embarked on a fishing trip to the Bahamas in a blue and white 25-foot Offshore open fishing boat. The pair were accompanied by two other friends in a separate boat. However, rough seas on that day caused Diaz and Perez's boat to disappear from view, and they were never heard from again.
