Roy Gregory Brooks Jr., age 21, disappeared on January 18, 2000, in Casselberry, Florida. He was last seen that morning at a Winn-Dixie supermarket, where he cashed a paycheck for $200. Brooks was supposed to go to work at a nearby Regal Cinemas but never arrived. His car, a black 1992 Honda Accord, was found abandoned the following day on an Interstate 75 ramp near Ruskin, Florida, over two hours away from his home. The vehicle was in working condition, with no signs of foul play or struggle.
