Felipe Santos, a 23-year-old Mexican national, disappeared on October 14, 2003, in Naples, Florida. On the day of his disappearance, Santos was involved in a minor car accident while driving to work. Collier County Deputy Steve Calkins responded to the scene, citing Santos for driving without a license and insurance, and subsequently placing him in his patrol car.
