Bruce Crowley, a 56-year-old man from Malden, Massachusetts, was last seen on December 30, 2022, in Provincetown. He had traveled to the Cape for the New Year's Eve weekend, but after his last sighting near Commercial Street, he vanished. Crowley had been staying at the Anchor Inn Beach House, and surveillance footage captured him on the day he disappeared. His 2011 gray Mini Cooper was later discovered abandoned in a parking lot in Provincetown.
Crowley’s family, deeply concerned about his welfare, reported him missing on January 4, 2023. Despite extensive searches by local and state police, including aerial and water searches, no significant leads have emerged. Crowley was described as 5'8", with brown eyes, gray hair, and tattoos on his arms and chest, and was last seen wearing dark clothing.
Crowley had recently returned to Massachusetts after struggling with substance abuse but had reportedly been sober for 18 months prior to his disappearance.
