Thomas Estevis, a 2-year-old boy, was last seen on July 1, 2008, in Laredo, Texas. Born into a family with a history of drug-related issues, Thomas was immediately placed in foster care after testing positive for cocaine at birth. In late 2007, after his parents met certain requirements set by Child Protective Services (CPS), Thomas and his six older siblings were reunited with them.
By November 2010, CPS intervened again after his father was arrested for driving under the influence, and his mother was found under the influence of drugs. During this time, Thomas's parents claimed he was in Georgia with relatives, but this was never verified. CPS filed a missing persons report for Thomas in November 2011, more than a year after he had last been seen. Despite multiple investigations, the exact circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear, and the case remains unsolved.
Authorities have continued their search for Thomas, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has issued age-progressed photos of him in hopes of gathering new leads. His case is still under investigation by the Laredo Police Department.Last Seen: Jul 1, 2008
