In the summer of 2009, a young father named Corey Nolan Smith vanished from the city of Jasper in Walker County, Alabama, leaving behind a concerned family and a case shrouded in mystery. On June 18, the 25-year-old was last seen after visiting with his uncle. During their conversation, Corey mentioned he was on his way to meet a man who owed him money, intending to settle the debt.
