In the arid landscape of Southern Arizona, on June 22, 2009, a 30-year-old man named Luis Alberto Lira Chagala vanished under distressing circumstances. He was last seen in the vicinity of Sasabe, a small, unincorporated community on the U.S.-Mexico border in Pima County. Luis, a Hispanic male with black hair and black eyes, stood between 5'1' and 5'3' tall and weighed between 115 and 130 pounds.
