On a summer evening in June of 2009, 72-year-old Julia Madsen vanished from her family's beach house in the South Seaside Park section of Berkeley Township, New Jersey. She and her husband, Ed, were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at their summer home, a place of cherished family memories.
