In the fall of 2009, 37-year-old Armando Sandoval Rangel vanished, with the last known contact occurring on October 30, 2009. At the time of his disappearance, the Hispanic male was in Pima County, Arizona, and was reportedly in the process of crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Rangel is described as being between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He has been known to use the aliases David Sandoval and Jose Hernandez.
