David Michael Martin, 47, was last seen on January 14, 2010, in Longview, Texas. A truck driver by profession, Martin called his family that day to inform them that his truck had broken down and he would not be able to visit them in Louisiana as planned. This was the last time anyone heard from him.
Martin had taken his truck to a mechanic for repairs, and after having dinner together, the mechanic left to continue work on the truck while Martin mentioned he would wait for a friend to
bring parts. However, Martin disappeared shortly afterward. He left behind all his personal belongings, including clothes, and never contacted his family again. Despite efforts from law enforcement and his family, no significant leads have emerged regarding his fate. His case remains unsolved, and authorities still seek any information that might shed light on what happened to him.
