Irene Alvarez Porras, a 54-year-old woman, was last seen on August 13, 2010, at around 10 p.m. at her home on De Forrest Street in Houston, Texas. Irene was last seen by her ex-husband and her son. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt and sweatpants. A week later, on August 21, 2010, her cellphone was discovered at a construction site near Beltway 8 and US-59 North in Houston, raising concerns of foul play.
