Stuart Isaac, a 48-year-old man from Burtonsville, Maryland, went missing in Yellowstone National Park in September 2010. On September 6, he left his home for a cross-country trip, leaving a note for his family. On September 24, he called a high school friend in Guam, mentioning he was en route to Yellowstone. This was the last time anyone heard from him.
Two days later, on September 26, Isaac's black 2009 Lexus IS-250, with vanity plates reading "BELLEK," was found abandoned at Craig Pass in Yellowstone. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside, but there were no signs of Stuart, and no hiking trails were nearby. Isaac had no known experience with hiking or camping, raising concerns about his safety. Despite extensive searches by park rangers and authorities, no trace of him has ever been found.
Isaac’s case remains a mystery, with no significant clues to explain his disappearance. His family and friends have speculated about possible scenarios, but the case is still unsolved, and no new leads have surfaced.
