Eric Franks, a 38-year-old Ohio native, went missing on March 21, 2011, after checking out of the Miller Motel in Saginaw, Michigan. Franks had relocated to Michigan in late 2010 to reconnect with an ex-girlfriend, Kendra Firmingham, after discovering that they had a teenage daughter together. He spent months in Saginaw, getting to know his daughter, but his sudden disappearance in March left both his family and investigators searching for answers.
