In the early morning hours of July 10, 2012, seventeen-year-old Paige Summer Moore vanished from her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was last seen by her family at approximately 1:00 a.m. and disappeared sometime between then and 6:30 a.m. from her residence on North Ironwood Avenue. Paige was scheduled to attend summer school that day but never arrived. She had taken some personal belongings with her, including her cell phone, but none of these items have ever been recovered. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a gray Goo-Goo Dolls long-sleeved t-shirt, pink or red polka-dotted boxer shorts, and red house slippers. Paige was described as having brown hair that was dyed with pink, red, and purple highlights, and she had piercings in her ears, nose, and lip. Initially, Paige's case was treated as a runaway, a classification that would remain for over a decade. Her parents had expressed concerns that she had fallen in with the wrong crowd prior to her going missing. As years passed with no contact or sightings of Paige, the hope of her voluntary return dwindled. The investigation into her disappearance continued, but all leads seemed to be exhausted. A significant shift in the case occurred in 2024 when an anonymous tip was provided to the authorities. This new information prompted a renewed and intensive investigation by the Broken Arrow Police Department, who then partnered with the FBI. Following the new lead, investigators conducted over 70 interviews, which led them to reclassify Paige Moore's case from a missing person to a homicide in July of 2025, thirteen years after she was last seen. Authorities announced their belief that Paige was killed in Broken Arrow shortly after she disappeared, although her remains have not been located. The investigation has identified several potential suspects. A crucial piece of evidence that has emerged is a dark green 2002 Chevrolet Tracker, which police believe may have been involved in her death. The vehicle had an Oklahoma license plate number 931KSW, and its registration expired in 2016. The last known registered owner informed police that he had sold the vehicle to a man named "Ramon," who never registered it. Authorities believe the Chevrolet Tracker may have been abandoned somewhere in the Tulsa area and continue to ask the public for any information regarding its whereabouts or any other details related to the case. The investigation into what happened to Paige Moore is ongoing, with her family still seeking answers and justice for her.
