Leonzo crossed the border on foot with a group around July 20th, 2012. Around the 23rd or the 24th, the group split, and some were caught by Border Patrol. This was near San Luis, Arizona, near highway 86, near the Tohono O'Odham Reservation. Leonzo was left next to a tree because he wasn't feeling well and his nose was bleeding.
