Omar Jabree Gibson, a 26-year-old man from Gainesville, Florida, was last seen on July 25, 2012, at around 9:30 p.m. at the Palms of Brook Valley apartment complex. His dark blue 2003 Honda Accord was discovered abandoned two days later in the same location. Omar did not live at the complex, raising suspicions about his whereabouts.

It was later revealed that Omar had planned to meet Maurice Marsalis Terry that night for a drug deal involving several pounds of cocaine. Terry, who was arrested in September 2012 on a related charge, told investigators that Omar was supposed to deliver the drugs to him at a nearby school, but Omar never arrived. This marked the last known sighting of Omar.

Despite the investigation and searches, no trace of Omar has been found, and his disappearance remains unsolved. His case has left his family, including his three children, without answers, as foul play is suspected due to the unusual circumstances. Omar's family continues to hope for new leads that could bring closure to the case.
