Donald Caldwell, a 12-year-old boy from Tuckerton, New Jersey, went missing on April 3, 1972. At the time, he was on a camping trip in Bass River State Forest with a group of 18 children and four adults from the Paterson Orphans Asylum. Donald and a 16-year-old boy named Steven Soden left the campground together and were last seen walking towards the Garden State Parkway. Despite extensive searches, both boys remained missing for decades.
