Mark Steven Scott, a 17-year-old from Houston, Texas, went missing on April 20, 1972. He left his home that day to spend time with friends but never returned. Shortly after his disappearance, Mark’s family received a postcard, supposedly from him, stating that he had found a job in Austin and would return home after saving enough money. This was later revealed to be part of a cruel deception.
