In the winter of 1974, a 24-year-old man from Michigan named Kenneth Dean Smith was exploring the vast landscapes of the American Southwest. Traveling in a green 1974 Ford van that he had converted into living quarters, Kenneth was on an adventure that he documented for his parents back in Allenton, Michigan.
