Michelle Elaine Meiser, a 22-year-old Native American woman and member of the White Earth Band of the Chippewa Tribe, disappeared on the evening of March 11, 1977, from St. Paul, Minnesota. She had gone out that night and never returned. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a dark green coat or sweater, beige pants, light brown wedge shoes, and multiple pieces of jewelry, including turquoise rings, an engagement ring, and an onyx ring.
