Joan Mary Bieter, aged 22, was last seen on July 16, 1968, in St. Paul, Minnesota. The day before her disappearance, Joan had an argument with her father. The following morning, she told her brother that she was leaving and would not be returning. She left her home and has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Joan was described as 5'6" tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair. She also went by the nickname Joanne.
