Missing

Cindy May Brown, 22, was last seen on March 10, 1980, in Roseville, Minnesota. She told her supervisor at Kmart that she was planning to leave town, and she was never heard from again. Cindy’s disappearance was reported by her roommate, Patrick Thomas Walsh, four and a half months later, on July 29, 1980. Walsh told police that Cindy had left in a brown van with two men and a woman, supposedly headed for California. Despite these claims, Cindy’s car was left behind, raising suspicions.
