Donald Bernard Kulas, 59, was last seen on May 11, 1985, after attending a retirement party in Two Harbors, Minnesota. The event was held for current and retired employees of the Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range Railway, where Kulas had worked as a carman. After the party, he was seen at the Moose Club, where he stayed until around midnight or 1 a.m. before leaving to return to his home near Bassett Lake, about 23 miles north of Two Harbors.
