Gina Marie Ellison, a 22-year-old woman, was last seen on June 19, 1990, in San Jose, California. That evening, she left her apartment around 8:00 p.m. to go for her regular jog and never returned. Her usual jogging route spanned about 2.7 miles around her neighborhood. When Gina did not come back home, her husband, Andray Ellison, flagged down a police car two hours later and reported her missing.
