James Donald Kimball, a 24-year-old from Oak Park, Illinois, disappeared on April 13, 1993. Diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 1985, Kimball had experienced several relapses despite periods of stability. He was last seen at his family's home during Easter weekend, where he became frustrated after technical difficulties with a stereo system. Following an argument, Kimball told his brother he would take a walk and left the house, never to return.
