Gary Lee Rogers, a 37-year-old man, went missing on November 16, 2007, in Alton, California. He was last seen at the Hansen Truck Stop in Humboldt County. That day, Gary and his girlfriend, Katherine Gonze, stopped at the truck stop around 2:45 PM. While Katherine used the restroom, Gary stayed in the truck, but when she returned, both Gary and the truck keys were gone. All of his personal belongings, including his wallet, were left behind.
Gary was known to have been transient, often camping along river bars in the Fortuna and Ferndale areas of Humboldt County. Described as 5'11", 200 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes, Gary had distinctive tattoos, including the name "RODGERS" on his back and a Viking woman on his left forearm. He also used the alias "Robert Scarbrough."
Despite being classified as an at-risk missing person, there has been no significant development in his case since his disappearance, and no activity has been reported on his bank account.
