Ernest Newell Ellison, aged 72, went missing on January 5, 1994, from his home in Hernando, Florida. He was last seen by his ex-wife at his apartment in the Ventura Village complex. At the time, Ellison appeared ill, possibly suffering from the flu, and he was reported missing a few days later on January 10 when his ex-wife became concerned after not hearing from him.
