In the winter of 1997, a 34-year-old woman named Sylvia Lynn Mitchell vanished from her life in Detroit, Michigan. She was last seen on February 1st of that year. At the time of her disappearance, Sylvia was described as a Black female, standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. She had black, medium-length hair and brown eyes.
