Maria Guadalupe Serrano, a 28-year-old mother of two, was last seen on October 17, 1998, in Half Moon Bay, California. She left her home on Cypress Street in the afternoon to walk to a client’s house on Purissima Street, where she worked as a housekeeper. However, she never arrived at her destination and has not been heard from since. Her disappearance coincided with the annual Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay, which was taking place that day.
