Charles Raymond Gauthier, an 86-year-old Native American man, disappeared on March 27, 2001, from Richmond Township, Michigan. At the time of his disappearance, Gauthier was residing at the Richmond Residential Care Facility due to dementia. He was last seen sometime between 4:00 and 7:00 a.m., when he walked away from the facility without his medication. He was spotted later walking along M-35 near the Empire Iron Mine.
